I have nothing but snow this fine Wednesday. We received 6.8 more inches of snow on Monday night and into Tuesday morning. It was beautiful even in the early morning hours as I was pushing all of that snow off of my car so that I could go to work.
As I was traveling along the Arkansas River on my way to work I so wanted to pull off along a side street and get my camera out and take pictures of all the trees with all the snow packed on the north side of them. But I kept moving because I didn’t want to get stuck somewhere along the way. Instead I settled for one when I arrived at work.
As you probably noticed some of the pictures were taken in my front yard, I think you might recognize the two blobs of snow that used to be snow people, right?
Did you notice how both of them are leaning towards the street? When the sun came out on Tuesday it really melted a lot of the snow so now the head of the snow woman is on the ground and John’s snowman’s head is slowly disappearing. I can’t believe how much my muscles hurt after shoving all that snow around. Hopefully I will have something to show you in the way of crochet on Friday. I hope everyone is having a good week and I would love to hear all about it.
Edited to Add!
I woke to more lovely snow coming down this fine Wednesday morning. It’s a good thing that our days have been sunny and have helped to melt some of it down into the ground where it’s needed. 🙂
Oh good that you found beauty in that snow. Maybe melt a bit more today! In the UK we have sunshine at last!

Hi Cathy!
I looked out my door this morning and guess what? Yes, more snow coming down. 🙂 Thank goodness most of our days have been sunshiney, which helps to melt the snow on the roads. I’m glad you are having a little sunshine in your part of the world today. Make it a great day.
Hugs,
Tamara

You have been getting a lot of snow! Why can’t Mother Nature keep things consistent, rather than holding back and dumping all at once? LOL Stay safe as you drive out and about.

Hi Jeanne!
Yes, we have had quite a bit of snow here and I was so surprised to see more coming down when I got up this morning. I would much rather drive on 2 inches of snow rather than the black ice that I had to drive on this morning, e-e-e-e-k! I hope you have a wonderful Wednesday!
Love and Hugs,
Tamara

Hi Sue!
Yes I do try to carry my camera with me ever time I leave my house. You never know when there will be a good photo opportunity. But I want to let you know that I don’t take pictures while I’m driving; only when John is driving. 🙂 Thanks so much for loving the pictures and for loving me. Love you, Tamara

Ohhhh….. those poor OLD & SHRIVELING snow people. A sad sight indeed. They really do look like an old couple now, shrinking ‘shorter & shorter’. And we do all rather ‘lose our heads’ as we age, don’t we, Tamara? haw-haw!

Hi Kat!
BWAHAHAHAHA! Yes most of us do shrink shorter and lose our heads as we get older. You gave me a good laugh.
Love you,
Tamara
