Four Baby Boy Hats and a Crochet Topped Tutu
I am so glad that it’s Friday again. I have been working hard on some little baby boy hats. I just love the way they look all lined up in a little square. The orange, brown, blue, and gray one will have a pom pom on it too. I just didn’t have enough time before heading off to work yesterday morning.
My brother Tom turned 65 yesterday andย I can’t wait to surprise him with a visit.
When I first saw this little crochet topped tutu pattern I couldn’t get it out of my mind.
I thought I needed to make one, so I did. I wish you all could see me in my back yard moving this little dress around to various places just to get the right picture.
The crochet part was so easy and fast, but the tulle skirt wasn’t quite so easy. Even though it took me some time I still love how it turned out. I especially love the little button that I put on the back to close it. When Joshua was here he found the button in one of his treasure boxes and left it on my stand beside of where I do my crocheting. Hisย note read: this is a old button that I found on the floor at Aunt Jackie’s shop when she was closing her store called Vintage Boutique. Anyway, I hope you all had a good week and I plan on having a great weekend. I would love to hear what your plans are.
That tutu will get snapped up, if it hasn’t been already. โค

Love the little boy hats. You always choose the right colors. The picture of you and the sibs is wonderful. Wish I could get my sibs together for a picture. It has been years since we have had one. The little crochet dress with the fluffy skirt is adorable. Love you girl. sw

I forgot to mention the little hangar that you have with the dress. I have 3 or 4 of them and they are adorable.

Hi Sue! I do so love my little baby hangers too. Some of them were from Jennifer. I snatch them up if I ever see them out and about for sale at second hand stores. Thanks so much for stopping by to comment. Love you Sue!!!

Hey, how about that! Your brother Tom was born one day ahead of me. ๐ Happy Birthday, Tommy! (I say ‘Tommy’ because that’s what we called my brother Tom when he was a young’n. He is 2 1/2 yrs older than I.)
The little tutu with crocheted top is adorable. Perfect button, thanks to Joshua. ๐
Happy Weekend, Girlfriend!!!

That tutu is gorgeous. Will you make adult sized ones? ๐

HAHAHAHA! No, I don’t believe I will be making any adult sized tutus. The little ones are eating up a lot of my time as it is. I can’t even imagine trying to make an adult sized one. ๐ Thanks so much for asking Alice.
