The Days are Going by too Fast

First of all I have to wish my dear sister a very happy birthday today. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JACKIE!!!! I love you and hope you have a wonderful day.

It seems like just yesterday that we were playing with our dolls and our children.

I’m sure I’m not the only one that feels like the days are going by too fast, even though while I’m at work they seem to drag on. Once I get off of work the time just flies. I have so many things that I want to complete before the Kansas Barn Sale and I seem to be running out of time. Oh well enough of that, here’s the flower that I made to go on the hat that I showed you from my last post.

Here’s another hat that would be a good sister hat to the one above.

Here’s one made from my Newsie Newsboy Hat pattern and I do love how it turned out.

Here’s a sneak-peek of a baby hat that I made for my newest great niece, Charlie. I hope I can get a really good picture of her in it as we are going to go to a baby shower for her tomorrow. Plus I want the look of the hat to be somewhat of a surprise for her Momma (since she may read my blog). 😉 Anyway no matter how much I am able to get done before the sale I will be happy with whatever I accomplish. I have decided that until after the sale I’m going to cut down on my blogging to once a week. So that means that I will be posting on the next two Mondays and then after that I will continue to blog 3 times a week like I have been doing for the last 2 years. I hope you all understand and will stick with me through this busy time. I love you all and wish you a wonderful weekend.

  1. Of course we understand. Devastated, and will miss your posts for a while – but understand. 🙂

    • Oh Jill!

You are too funny and I will miss your comments too. You make my day!

      Love and Hugs,
      Tamara

  2. I was just going to say the same thing as Jill-of course we understand. We will all miss your blog. I just love the first picture of you and Jackie-those little dresses were pink weren’t they? Happy birthday to sweet Jackie. Love you both.

    • Hi Sue,

The little dresses were white (now they’re off white) and mine had a light blue satin ribbon that wrapped around my waist and tied in the back with a big bow. Jackie’s dress was identical but it had a pink ribbon. My dress was made for my Uncle Oris and Aunt Barbara’s wedding and one of her colors was light blue and I was the flower girl. Of course Mom wanted to dress us alike so she scrapped Jackie’s together out of the leftover fabric. I just remember that everyone oohed and aahed over us and it made me very scared. 🙂

Thanks so much for stopping by to comment and for understanding about my little break.

      Love you,
      Tamara

  3. Stick *with* you, Tamara? Heck, don’t you realize there is a glue (aka: bond!) between us? So yah, sticking with you is easy & un-do-able! 😉
I think it is wise of ya to take a little time off from here since your time is so filled up with work & crochet & getting ready for the BIG SALE!!

Loving all those hats & your wonderful big flowers.6yyyt6ttttttttt5 [a note from Emma again!] Ooohhhhh…. ahhhh …… (Hope I did not scare you. LOL!!)

A belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO JACKIE!! She’s a great sis!

Okay, so stop spending time on your computer and get busy! HaHa!!
Will miss reading & seeing pics of your happenings, but I know you will “fill us up” as time allows. Be good to yourself.

    Love you much!!
    Kat (& Emma)

    • Hi Kat!

Thanks so much for saying that you will stick with me. To tell you the truth I wasn’t worried about you at all. You have been with me from day one at Crochet Soiree and then when I started my own blog you were right here too. You are a true friend indeed and I love you for that. Now I’m going to take your advice and get back to the hooks and get busy. I hope you’re well and you’re having a good day.

Oh by the way say Hello to Emma (isjkljo;:”_)
      Love and Hugs,
      Tamara

      • Tamara ~ You are just so lovable!!
        xoxoxo
