I’m still trying to heal and taking things slowly. I went back to work on Monday and was only able to stay for 5 hours. Of course I had been up 9 ½ hours total already. Tuesday I lasted for 8 hours, so hopefully I can last just as long today. I had mentioned in the comments that John and I had taken a picture just before the one that I posted, only it looks like I’m trying to squeeze his face off and he doesn’t look very happy either. But I do have to explain that I sometimes think that I ask a lot out of him and he sometimes gets frustrated with me when I want to take his picture. So he was being helpful and frustrated at the same time. I asked him to take a picture with me, so he was cooperating and went and got the tripod to hold the camera. Well, he doesn’t know how to work my camera very well and every time he tried to set the timer he would instead take a picture of me only. So that’s why he was getting frustrated. Here’s some of the pictures that we took and I think the one that I posted Monday was the best out of all of them and the last one here.
Oops, looking up my nose.
Oops, almost cut John out of picture.
I may have been squeezing his face or patting it and wanting to smack it just a little:)
Now, isn’t this the nicest picture out of all of them? What do you think?
While I was recuperating last week Jennifer and I watched cooking shows when she was visiting me and spending time with me. One of the shows was about making little meatloafs stuffed into green, yellow, and/or red pepper rings. So Jennifer made some on Tuesday, along with homemade mac and cheese, and stir fried vegetables. Oh by the way she invited me to join her and Megan and boy was it good and afterwards my little Megan wanted to show me how she could jump rope.
and jump rope,
Refueling with a little chocolate:)
I couldn’t help myself, she is so cute and quite good, and reminded me so much of Jennifer when she was little that I couldn’t stop taking pictures of her.
Oh by the way I did finish the sparkly thread Eva’s shawl and now just have to block it, before taking it to Shelly to display at Twist my LYS. I always love to hear what you’re doing too, so go ahead and leave a comment.
Hi Tamara,
I am so glad that you are feeling well enough to go back to work:)
Your Eva Shawl turned out just beautiful. I love it in that sparkly thread. I have made four shawls since the start of the new year and now I am working on a new summer bag pattern that I hope to have ready in a couple of weeks.
Take care,
Merri

Hi Merri,
I had a setback and worked too long yesterday, I’ve been resting all day today. Thank you so much for stopping by and I can’t wait to see the new summer bag pattern. Maybe it’s time to do a crochet-a-long again? What do you think?
Love you,
Tamara

Hi Tina,
I’m so sorry I grossed you out and Rosina pointed out that I put the picture before the words of warning:) Sorry about that. Thanks for liking the granny square coasters. I love them too.
Thank you for stopping by and I loved your post about St. Patrick’s day.

Ohhhhh….. LOVE the 3rd photo ……. squeeze / pat / SMACK! hahahahaha!!
But where’s the one of you looking like yer gettin’ ready to sneeeeze?? Is it the first one?
Great shots of Megan jump-roping. Such a gramma you are! I kept looking & scrolling down & looking and ….. wondering if she’d stopped jumping yet. LOL!
Your Eva Shawl is beautiful and will look so lovely on display in the window at Twist. You can be so proud of yourself, Tamara. Remember to not overdo your time at work. {heart}

Hi Kat,
I knew you would get a kick out of the photos of John and me. I deleted the ones of just me in the picture because they were so bad.
Thank you for understanding about being a Grandma. I love my Megan so much and she just doesn’t understand why I want to take pictures of her and kiss her all the time. Time goes by too fast not to capture her life in photos.
Thank you for liking the shawl even though you really can’t see how beautiful the yarn really is in the photos.
Love and Hugs,
Tamara
