What I’m Thankful For

First of all I’m thankful for God and what he has brought to my life.

Next I’m thankful that my Mom and Daddy are still here with us.

 

Then I’m thankful for my Husband John who never ceases to make me laugh and also makes me cry and sometimes at the same time. (and who will kill me when he finds out I posted this picture of him)

Then I’m thankful for my beautiful daughter Jennifer who reminds me so much of me, not in looks but in all of her actions. She’s just like me.

Then I’m thankful for my son Joshua who makes me smile, laugh, and cry all at the same time. I’m very thankful to my Brother-in-Law and Sister-in-Law who will be feeding my Joshua on Thanksgiving and loving him this weekend.

I’m also thankful that I have 2 wonderful sons and daughter-in-laws and regret that I don’t get to see them often enough.

I’m also very thankful for grandchildren. They all make me smile and very happy. I’m thankful for my sister and her husband and her children who are just like my own. I’m also thankful for my 3 brothers and their families. I’m very thankful that I have lots of people in my life that I can call friends.

I’m thankful for friends and fellow guild members who have come together to make the scarf and sock charity project work. They will come together to provide 85 scarves and 85 pairs of socks for Christmas to women who are less fortunate than we are. As of Monday we have 66 scarves and 58 pairs of socks. We will reach our goal! I’m very thankful that my daughter is cooking the turkey tomorrow and I have 4 days off in a row. I will be spending my Thanksgiving at home with my husband, daughter, and granddaughter this year and plan on eating way too much, resting, and crocheting. I’m also thankful for all of my friends out there in Blogland. I love each one of you and want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and a very safe weekend. How about you?
